It’s National Farmers Market Week. With more than 15 regular farmers markets in Prince George’s County, it’s easy to buy local and support agriculture within our community.

Some of the markets or vendors accept SNAP and WIC, and a few even match nutrition assistance benefits. Buying fresh, local produce is a healthy, sustainable, and often cheaper way to eat.
