The Prince George’s County Zoning Rewrite Team and community members will be present about Community Engagement in the Zoning Rewrite process at the 2018 National Capital Area APA Conference on Thursday, October 18 at George Washington University.
The panel will explore the process and results of the Prince George’s County Planning Department’s efforts to strengthen relationships with our communities, particularly those in the County that are economically, racially, and socially diverse and have been marginalized or under-represented in the planning process.
During the discussion, our team will share their experience as members of the public contributing to the zoning rewrite project as well as planning staff committed to educating and broadening the network of individuals who provided comments.
